My Classroom

Every year, I want to decorate something different into my classroom. I always ask students to do some projects. This year, I had the unity on technology, so they can create it and make it into posters.

Junior Two Project

This is my junior two project for oral test. They have to create a piece of technology. they do not need to make it, they have to draw the picture and make it into a poster presentation, so we will have an idea what is the product.

This class junior two G made a "Moving Hotel." They said if you are traveling all over and you do not have any place to stay, you can bring this little box. What this little box can do for you? this box can became a six star hotel for you to relax. Now, you do not need to worry where are you going and do not worry if the hotel you are staying is good for you or not. you can just do is using this box.

After their presentation, I really want this box, too. i know this is impossible, but one day who knows it can be come true or not.

What imagination they have! I really enjoyed their presentation.

Comics

My Oral test topic for my Junior three (ninth graders) is to create comic poster. I gave them a topic and they have to draw 10 pictures and write the shortest sentence that people can be understood.

I divide this work into pair work. Some of the groups put a lot of effort and some other groups did not even put any efforts. This class, J3E, they put a lot of effort into this test. This is my best class and the best project ever seen in my life. I am very happy with them. they did a great job!

This is the piece of work from Shaiya and Amy. They did a picture of the train. The story behind is the father of the girl in the story is working in a train station, he earned a lot of money, but until one day, the girl's family became poor. The girl was thinking how to help her family. She wanted to study harder and harder to be able to college and earn money. She said, "Dad do not worry, I will make money for you." That is meaningful story.

Mr. Happy's Adventure is also a fun story of a man who is traveling all over, he did not have any girlfriend. Even he is traveling all over, but he always felt lonely. Until one day, he met a girl who wants to be his girlfriend. Mr. happy is so happy forever.

A pig father and the pig baby went for a walk one day. the baby pig saw 10 dollars and 5 dollars coin. He asked his father if he could pick up the money. The father answered, "Which one would you pick up, the five or the ten?" The baby said 10 of course. He picked up the money and he contributed to his class at his school. I though this is a cool learning story.

One young person always wanted to live in a dark. He is always sad, he always wanted to kill people, but until one day, he discovered himself that he is very valuable in this life. From that time, his life changed completely.

This is also a nice story of two girls that after graduating from high school, they did not see each other. One day, they met accidentally. They were chatting and they were happy ever since.

This poster is very political. This theme is very similar to the Chinese diplomat came to Taiwan. At that time, they met problems.

When people forget something in their lives, they have to learn how to apologize or say sorry. No excuse is good when you hurt somebody. I think this is a good learning lesson for all of students.

Junior One Drama

My Junior One regular did their oral test. The topic of my oral test for them is to perform drama. They have to use unit three and four from the book Impacts: Intro. Unit three and four are about pastime and household chores.

They also have to use vocabulary form these two units. I do not expect them to use all of them, but they can use some of them or the words they need.

All o my junior ones are excellent. However, junior one B, they put more effort into their work. It is easy for me to give them very high points, no problem.

This class did their performance, I really enjoy the show. I am very proud of my seventh grader B. great job everyone!

Are they very cute?
Yes, they are very cute. They are performing two sister in two different countries, one is the USA and another one in Taiwan. They are calling each other and talking about housework.

In the North Pole

It is spring here in Taiwan, it is so hot outside, these girls are performing "The north Pole". They have to fit into the theme.

Grandfather Did Not Want to Do The Housework

Today, my Junior One B (seventh graders) had their oral test. this group of students did a great job in performing drama.

They prepared so hard, and I am sure they all want a very good grade. They use all the vocabulary and contents from unit three and four.

After thier presentation, I am very happy to see how hard they prepare for it. I am hopping that all of my students will work as hard as them.

Junior Three Composition

I gave to my 9th graders a composition about the arrangement of your room. How are you going to change your room? Every student has to write their composition in English. They have to write 150 words total.

This amount of words for American kids is not even a lot. However, for EFL students, they will think it is a lot of already. This amount of words will be a pian for some of students whose English skill is not good enough.

In my school, Sheng-Kung, we have 10 classes per level and 50 to 55 students in one class. I gave this assignment for my Junior three (9th graders) E and I classes. Both of them did a great effort. I am very proud of their work.

My Own Room

It has been wight years since we moved to the new house. There are five floor in the house. And my room is located on the third floor.

I like bright colors because they can make my room look clean and warm, I do not like dark because the color will make me feel sad.

There are not only teddy bears but also dolls in my room. I like them very much. I used to sleep with them, although I do not hold them all day now as I did it before., I still put them around me when I go to sleep.

Having my own room is very different from before, Maybe someday, I will decorate my room into a palace, so I can feel that I am little cute princess.

My Very Own Room

When I first moved into my room, I felt it was boring and no colors. I found there are some things I can do to make it not only in a comfortable but also personal environment.

First, I iwll put the big blue table next to the big chair that I have in my room, then, I will put flowers on the table. Next, I wil paint my walls blue and hang a clock with a cute birds on my wall.

I will buy a lot of foods, so I can have al kinds of foods on my table. I will also need a very handsome waiter to enjoy the life with me. finally, I need to change my bed. I need a very soft bed in my room.

My Dream Room

If I have a bedroom, so I can decorate on my own, and I will change everything.

First, I will rid of the things which I do not use for years. I can put them into different boxes and send them to the recycling center or give to people who really need it.

Second, I will put some cute dolls beside my blue bed, I can also put some flowers on my desk. I will set a small white white table and to chairs among my room. There will be also a lot of poems and novels in my bookshelf.

Wow! it sounds wonderful, right?

The last thing that I will do is to put my favorite chair and seat on it and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. What I life I have in my room.

The life in my dream room is so perfect, isn't it? it is also not so difficult to do all these things. If I have time and money, I will make my room comfortable and beautiful.

My Beautiful Room

Everyone has his or her room and so do I. My room is just like most common people's room, there's nothing special but in a different style than the others.

I have a little balcony in my room, so I can put all of wet clothes. Also, I have a big closet, so I can out all of my clean clothes into my closet.

I have a lot of dolls in my bed and that makes me so confusing, because I do not know where is my pillow and my blankets. I have a little radio next to my bed, when I am bored, i can just listen to it.

I also have a bookcase next to my window. It used to be mine but now it belongs to my brother.

This is my room, it might nor be big but I like it very much.

My Room

My room is not big enough but it is already comfortable. It is a peace place which it could make me clam down when I have stress.

I decorate my room in a very simple way. I put a big table, single bed, and bookshelf.

On my table, there are some books and some stationery's for me to use everyday. To tell you the truth, it is quiet messy.

There are many kinds of books on my bookshelf, such as novels, comic books, school books, dictionary, cyclopedias, and some Cd's.

I like to do many things in my bed, I like to read my novel and listen to my music. I also put a big map in front of my bed. when I am free, I can see the map and see all the countries in the world. I do not have money to go country per country but i can just see the map and imagine that I am traveling around the world.

My Room

When I was in kindergarten, I moved to live with my grandparents. At that time, I have to share the room with my sister.

In our room, I have a huge closet. I have a lots of clothes inside and I have the warmest bed, It is very comfortable. My desk is next to my bed, so that's why I can study veryday here.

I have a lot of book on my my bookshelf that I really like all of my books. Also, there are many citations and letters written by my friends. I put the letter on my walls.

Even though, I do not have my own room, but I live all I have. I love my family, and my house. I am very lucky to have everything I want in my life.

Jennifer's Composition

My room is on the third floor of my house. In the morning, it is reflecting the sunlight. In the afternoon, it is a perfect place for me to have a rest. In the evening, I can sleep like a baby on my bed. There's desk, chair, closet and a piano in my room, When I am bored, I will play the piano or read some comic books.

I design my room, in many different ways. I like the way I design my room. I put a lot of pictures of my idol on the walls, I bought a bed and I put all my dolls on it. A lot of visitors who comes to my room, they all like to stay in my room. They said,"your room is so nice". I am very proud of myself.

Stacy's Composition

Three days ago, I moved into my new apartment, I felt very happy. because my new life is starting. I found a lot of things to let me feel surprised.

Near to my house there's a little park, department store and a big bookstore. My new apartment is close to the sea , so when I get up in the morning, I can see the beautiful scenery.

The beautiful view is always waiting for me in the morning. When I see it, I could relax a little bit.

My apartment has living room, bathroom, and the bedroom, but I try my best to decorate my apartment to be more beautiful. I put a big book shelves in my room. Study is my hobby, I like to be in my room and study. Sometimes, I read novels. Novels are the most important thing in my life, I cannot live without it.

S1 Singing Competition

Today, in my school, Sheng-Kung organized English singing competition. All of the tenth graders did a great job. Each class is very unique and they really practice hard in this competition. They put all of their efforts into it.

I was the judge in this afternoon and I really enjoyed listening how they sang in each class. It is really amazing to see their presentations.

There are total six classes with six different songs in it. The songs are: Let All the People Praise You, O God, Winter Magic, Take This Wings, Season of Love, The rhythm of Love, The World is Yours.
