In my junior one (7th) grader we studied about nationality. there's 50 countries and 50 nationalities for them to remember. What I did is set them into groups. Some classes are shorter than others. So I told them that they will get together in groups of two to three.
Once they get together into their groups, I made them to choose the country that they like the most. I told them one country one group. It cannot have two groups with the same countries.
They have to do research and they have to tell me 1. where is the country (location) 2. what places are famous over there? 3. What kinds of food are good to eat? 4. How and why they made it?
The product from each group turned out wonderfully. I am so proud of my junior one this year. This year junior one are the best and they work so hard compared to last year's group.
