Teacher Hits Student (2006花蓮縣中城國小林玟妝老師案)

2006年十二月十一日，花蓮縣玉里鎮中城國小五年忠班導師林玟妝，要求學生繳交運動會心得，該班某黃姓男生未寫，林玟妝老師罰他背誦《論語》。十二月十二日早自習時，林玟妝老師驗收，黃生背不出來，林玟妝老師遂拿一根長五十公分、直徑一公分的鋁管，在全班面前打他手心，黃生閃避，左右臂也被打傷。林玟妝老師命令黃生背誦唐詩，明天驗收。十二月十三日，黃生背誦不出唐詩，林玟妝老師再以鋁管毆打他屁股與大腿，還問：「有沒有跟媽媽講老師打你的事？」黃生哭求：「老師，我好痛！不要再打了。」逃到走廊，林玟妝老師追出教室，持續毆打，造成屁股青腫。黃生回家，不敢跟家長說，但家長從其他家長口中得知上情，到校抗議。林玟妝老師未出面說明，校長不斷道歉，轉述說，林玟妝老師不知道自己出手如此重，非常懊悔。家屬不接受道歉，堅持報警，寫電子郵件向教育局申訴。校方說，將把林玟妝老師調離導師職務，再召開教評會議處。黃生說，林玟妝老師很嚴格，只要學生沒交作業或未背誦唐詩，就會被罵：「你是不是白痴？是不是狗？不然怎麼會不聽話？我的棒子只打豬跟狗！」至於用鋁管打人，是因為籐條已經打斷了。黃生說：「是我不對，我沒有交作業，害老師生氣。」十二月十五日下午，該校考績會決議將林玫妝老師記一支大過。

Now theTaiwanese education has to be changed. Teacher hit the studet with metalic stick. The wors thing is that the stick is broken and the student's body got bruises in his hips. The teacher is sick, she should get punished. Even I am angry in the classroom, I won't hit my students.

Christmas Carols

Now in my Junior Two classes, we are singing Christmas Carols. We are planning to sing for school authorities like Principal, Vice-Principal, Deans and more. We are working so hard and picking up the songs in each class. Hopping that they will enjoy singing and the authorities will enjoying listening.

I'am planning to teach my Junior One classes a song by Gareth Gates, "Stupid Mistake." It is very easy song for Junior one to learn English. I think they will like it.

The lesson:
I made my students to read with me first. After reading, I explained to them unfamiliar words, they can ask questions for thier unknown vocabulary. After understanding the song, I play the son, they can just listen to the music and read the lyrics. After that, I ask them if they like the song, if not why, if yes why. Students will asnwer.

After answering my question, I will play MV for them to see. Again, I will ask questions and students will asnwer.

Finally we will sing together for the first time, after that I will divid 55 students into two groups and sing. Then, I will do competition between these two groups. If they sing well, they can go, if not they have to stay and sing until they know the song.
