Exchange Students From Australia

Today my Junior two G are spo excited because Natalie from Australia, she is an exchange stduent. 12 students came from Ruyton Girls' School. Why Ruyton girls came to Taiwan? Because one of their second langauges that they are studying is Mandaring - Chinese. So they need to come to practice thier language. It is like for us to go to another country and practice English or Spanish.

It is so cool to see how schools are connected with one another globally. It is good to know more cultures and exchange it. We are so lucky to know them, it is a great opportunity for girls to use thier English and make friends.

Teacher's Day

Today is a celebration of teacher's Day. All entire school are watching us. This is my first time to step into the new building. I felt very proud of myself to be a teacher.

Also, the Australian girls' came to join us for teacher's day celebration. They did not see celebration like this before in their lives.

For teacher's day, PTA mothers (Angels Mothers) gave us a china plates from Japan. It is so nice crystal plates for salad or fruits. It look like very expensive.

School, gave us red envelop every year. this year because of economy drops , so they gave us $300 NT dollars instead of $ 600 NT dollars to spend at the department store. I can bring Alan to play and eat. I am so happy to have a teacher's day celebration.

New School Year

During summer class, all of students can wear anything they want. After a month of summer classes, it is now to get into more serious work, the new school year is already started. No more informal classes, no more informal tests, no more relaxation exercise for them. Students need to know how serious is school.

It is so different to see my new grous of students with any clothing and uniform. If they wear uniform, I almost do not recognize them. It is a new start for me. I cannot even believe how clothing can change people's appearance.
